Get to know me

I'm Becca Hunter, a pattern designer deeply inspired by the vibrant world of nature and the myriad hues it offers. My journey into design is intertwined with my lifelong passion for flowers, a path that began in early childhood and continued with my work in flower essences.

Over the years, life has taken me on various adventures, including the fulfilling experience of homeschooling my children. This chapter of my life brought a powerful realization: it's never too late to chase your dreams. And for me, that dream has always been to create my own fabric designs.

Today, I'm living that dream. My tools of choice are watercolor and ink, which allow me to capture the delicate and dynamic essence of nature. I craft each motif by hand, then bring them together into harmonious designs using Photoshop. This choice lets me preserve the authentic beauty and integrity of watercolors.

Flowers make me smile and colors lift my spirits. Nature reminds me to slow down and appreciate the beauty of our world. When I create art, I feel in touch with those feelings, even if the world is cold and grey outside. My hope is to bring color, light and joy to as many lives as possible. Every pattern I create is a heartfelt expression of my deep connection with the natural world and an expression of the joy we can find in everyday life.
